With the new average for a Prem transfer seeming to be valued around £30 million, heaps of huge deals are appearing every week, we will take a look at some of the biggest of this astonishing summer.
Let’s start with one of the greatest stories of the summer, Romelu Lukaku. His move from Everton to Man Utd cost the Red Devils £75 million. Lukaku, who was pipped to the golden boot by Harry Kane last year, has already shown his quality in a Red jersey scoring in his first match for Utd. Utd haven’t been the only team splashing the cash Man City have also splashed on their defence. They have bought Kyle Walker, Danilo and now the most expensive defensive player in the world Mendy, although this is strengthening their defensive line and they have already bought a new keeper, the question is, will they gel as a team? Chelsea have been doing much the same, sorting out weak areas, buying Morata to put up top and wanting other player to strengthen their line up. After Liverpool’s incident with Van Dijk they have their sights set on one Kieta, while also trying to keep stars like Coutinho. West Ham have done good business signing the little pea himself and Marko Arnautovic.
So, what transfers may be coming up? A Van Dijk move looks on the cards as he has not been invited on tour with Southampton. Swansea rejected a £45 million bid for Sigurdsson from Everton but it is getting closer to the £50 million asking price. Mbappe looks like he could go to anywhere he would like at the moment and PSG have set a £190 million bid Neymar.
To conclude loads of huge transfers are going to be coming up to keep an eye out for the biggest transfers of the summer, because trust me there are still more to come.
